How to use it

  1. Upload the PDF you are authorized to sign and review the page where a visual signature should appear.
  2. Draw a signature in the tool or upload a PNG or JPG signature image. A transparent PNG often gives the cleanest result.
  3. Choose whether to place the signature on the current page, every page, or a custom page list. Use separate placements when different pages need the signature in different locations.
  4. Position the signature carefully so it does not cover important text, dates, or signature lines.
  5. Apply the signature placement and download the resulting PDF.
  6. Open the downloaded copy before you send it. Check page placement and make sure the signature is readable at normal zoom.

Is this a legally binding e-signature?
This stamps a visual signature image onto the PDF. It is not certificate-based e-sign (like DocuSign). For regulated workflows, use a dedicated e-sign service.
Does my PDF get uploaded?
No. Signing runs in your browser. Your file and signature stay on your device.
What image formats work?
PNG and JPG. Transparent PNGs work best for a clean signature look.
Can I sign multiple pages?
Yes. Apply to this page only, all pages with the same position, custom pages (e.g. 1, 3-5), or save separate placements so different pages can use different spots—then apply once.
Does this create a certificate-based digital signature?
No. It adds a visual signature image to the PDF. It does not provide identity verification, a certificate, signing workflow, or an audit trail.
Can I use a transparent signature image?
Yes. A transparent PNG is often best because the page background shows through around the handwritten mark. JPG is also supported.
How should I share a signed sensitive PDF?
